Yes, there may be an hierachy of decays of different unstable dark matter species. In the 2 semester we'll discuss such model. In the simplest variants they cannot convert in each other, since decays are irreversible processes, in which heavier species decay to lighter species, but not vice versa. However, in the models of interacting dark matter and dark energy, transitions from one form to another are also possible.
2. Если мы обнаружим из чего состоит темная материя (или ее часть), то будет ли обнаруженное по-прежнему называться темной материей?
There is no reason to change the name. This would be discovered dark matter, will remain dark (nonluminous) and nonbaryonic.
