XV Bled Workshop "What comes beyond the Standard model"

New postby Maxim Khlopov on Tue 17 Jul 2012 16:33

In the framework of XV Bled Workshop "What comes beyond the Standard model"
http://fiz.fmf.uni-lj.si/bled2012bsm/

VIA talk by P.Belli "DAMA/LIBRA results and perspectives" took place on 17 July
In the course of Discussion the following questions were put
Houri Ziaeepour: Do you consider annual variation of ionosphere that affects your background ?

Houri Ziaeepour: Have you correlated your data with e.g. cosmic rays variations etc. ?

Houri Ziaeepour: There are also high energy neutrinos.

Holger Bech Nielsen: you see no significant oscillation above a few kev Is this due to the variation being less with season at the higher energy but is almost all you see even at high energy also supposed dark matter? When you have about 10 to 20 variation supposedly is it almost too much variation?

Holger Bech Nielsen: How much is the background compared to estimated background compared to supposed dark matter observed if you variation is due to dark matter ? I.e. how much nondark matter background do you have compared to dark matter?

Holger Bech Nielsen: Zou mentioned and one can see that below your data below in energy looked less regular. Is your more stable at higher energy than at lower ?

VIA transmission of talk by Prof. Anatoli S. Romaniouk (CERN, Switzerland/NRNU "MEPhI", Moscow, Russia)
"The ATLAS experiment at the LHC: present status and its future." took place on 18 July.
